Log only function
Before using LR9553D, please charge it with your USB cable or car charger till the red light is off, see below
Leadtek 9553D brings you more joy of photo taking by geotagging your photos ! While you use your digital camera to take photos, the exact position, date and time of the taken photos will be automatically recorded in LR9553D in the NEMEA format. Synchronize the GPS information and the photos with the exact date and time in your computer or PDA, and you can have a full view of the images with available digital maps. You can even choose which format of the maps and the proportion of the zoom, either satellite, global or local maps.
 

Push the switch up, see below to activate the log only function and start to record the time and the position. After you have adjusted the correct time and date on your digital camera, start to take your pictures. When you finish your trip, you can use the attached USB cable to archive the log file via the application software we’ve provided in the enclosed CD. By means of this application software, you can easily choose how to present your photos, either launching locr (Manage locr photos) or Google Earth (View tracks).

Install the software of locr GPS photo, and integrate the log file and the photos, see the instruction below.
The key features of this application software
Please put the enclosed CD into your CD_ROM, and click on the product of LR9553D. The installation will be in process automatically. Here the key features of this application software are: 
  1. To download the log files *.log (RMC compatible) from LR9553D and convert them to *.kml for Google Earth, *.csv in Excel format and *.gpx compatible to other devices based on your requirements.
  2. To change the cycle time (1 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec and 60 sec for choice).
  3. To clear all log files in LR9553D.
  4. To launch Google Earth and Locr. (Please install Google Earth from their website first).
